The final two foundational doctrines presented in Hebrews 6:1-2 are resurrection of the body and eternal judgement. These doctrines take us out of time and into eternity. The purpose of this focus on eternity is to teach us that we should not set our sights on this life only.

Father, help me to train my eyes to see the eternal, invisible realm rather than the temporary, visible aspects of my life. Help me to remember that this earth is not my eternal home.
